DIVERSE TREES –DEUT. 20:19-20, Luke 13:6-9

There are basically two major types of trees, the first is the productive one and the other is the unproductive one.

In the bible passage, God instructed them not to cut down any tree they see and know will or can bear fruits and be helpful, because this type of tree is a man’s life, a man can live by its product.

But the second type is the type that yields nothing, they can’t be trees for meat, this type Jesus commanded dried in the New Testament (fig tree – Matthew 21:19)

Some trees use to bear fruit but they do that no more, which makes them fall under the second category, they should therefore be cut off.

And some didn’t produce from the start, maybe they don’t even give the sign of being productive at all but along the line, they met life and began to yield, such should be spared.

What kind of tree are you, what kind have you grown to be or what type of tree have you reduced to?
