IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD LUKE 8:22-25

We claim strong when everything seems to work, when there are no challenges our faith seems stronger than ever. We smile deeply with the understanding that Jesus is with us.

But when there seems to be a dangerous wind, we feel lonely, the lowly Jesus has abandoned me, we fix our eyes on the problems and refuse to see the one answer to every good thing and bad who goes nowhere.
How do you handle difficult situations, do you nag, do you breakdown or breakthrough and forth, what is your conclusion like? That Jesus is sleeping?

As a father that he is, he expects you to do as he does, God never sleeps, so Jesus wasn’t sleeping, he needed to confirm if these ones have learnt something so far. I told you to what extent faith will change situations for you, to what extent you will go if you can have just a little faith. The hour came for them to do the practical of what the teacher has been teaching, but they failed because of fear.

Fear sets in and their faith disappeared. The God you see in the good times is still as good as present in the bad times.

ONE SHUTS, ONE OPENS 2CRONICLES 28:24, 29:3

Ahaz doesn’t need to physically close the door of God’s house before we conclude he did. From the start of his reign, he has been imperfect, he did things outside the will of God, till the very end, his life was nothing to reckon with God.

Hezekiah happens to be his son, from the start of his reign, he honored God, and in the very first month of the first year he opened the door of the Lord’s house.

When you close the door of God’s house, there will surely be other door(s) opened, doors not of God, and likewise when you open it, other door(s) would be shut and just his door in your life will be opened.

Hezekiah had a bad and evil father, who lived wrong and wasn’t an example of a godly father. But you should wonder why Hezekiah was his opposite, why the father closed the good door and the son opened it. Many times we attribute our failure to the kind of parent we have, they were bad, I could not help myself, they made me this evil, they never showed me the way of the Lord, I had to survive whatever way. Then you do wrongs.

THE TWO PARTIES=CHECKED NEHEMIAH 1:5B

God keeps his covenant and mercy no matter the situation, he said he is the God of all flesh is there anything too difficult for him to do? Definitely not even one thing.

There are times the situation will look like God didn’t keep his promise, but he said he never slack with his promises, he doesn’t lie, has he sayest a thing and not do it? Then where is the fault?

Since God will keep his words, covenant and mercy, then what of your part, do you keep your part of the deal to love and obey him?

Before you blame him, first check yourself, check if you are playing your own part, if you are doing just that, then you can relax because his part is as certain as been done. Psalm 62:12

SECURED PENSION ISAIAH 46:4

“And even to your old age, I am he…”
Ever bordered about tomorrow or what it holds, I have, I wonder what it will be like, will there be pains, sorrows or will it ever come?

God doesn’t just have interest in your past, he has full interest in your present and especially your future. He isn’t just concerned about your tomorrow, that’s what just any parent will do, he is your tomorrow, before you get there, he has been waiting for you, making ways, clearing the evil in it, preparing places, glorifying himself and causing you to smile.

He is HE even in your old age, even when all strength is gone, when you have little or no strength left, when you are dying, when you need help and couldn’t get out, he is He.

He is He who will make his strength known in your weaknesses, he is He who’s sufficient for you. Moses was 120, he was not bad, and hewas still very healthy because GOD WAS WITH HIM.

Old age is not a sign of disappearance of God, man may disappear because they aren’t gaining much from you anymore, but God will be with you as much as he is with you now or even more.

Your old age is guaranteed in him. He is the only sure friend. The only one who can interpret your wants to your needs.

Secure your future now by connecting with the owner of the future.

WEALTH DEUTERONOMY 11:14, 24

Every place you step your foot shall be yours, every business you lay your hands upon to do shall be a success.

By due season, God will give the rain of your land, you will plant and reap bountifully. Our God is not a God that encourages poverty, I was studying the open heavens yesterday, when I got to understand that poverty is not normal, it’s not what you have to suffer as a believer if only you know your right.

You are poor when whatever you do has no blessings attached to it or when you do nothing at all. So far you are doing something, you should eat many things, because God promised to bring both the first rain and latter rain so that you may have bountiful harvest.

The conditions to enjoy Godly wealth is to live in a godly way, love and obey God. Also I learnt the clear difference between fact and truth, fact is just according to man while truth is according to God. The fact is you have to work more if you want to get more but the truth is God can actually bless the little work you do and multiply it, the fact is, it is never possible for 5 loaves of bread and 2 fishes to be doubled but the truth is, 5 loaves of bread and just 2 fishes multiplied and fed over 5,000.

It’s your right to be rich only aren’t lazy, so far you show some skills with some effort, there is guarantee God blesses you. Only if you know how expensive the blood of Jesus is, then you will know how rich you are, if only you could convert his sacrifice monetarily, you will know the level of your wealth.

ALL BEFORE THE LORD YOUR GOD DEUTERONOMY 12:18

Having been blessed by God, when he already shined his face on you and heaven smile on all that you do, when you are outstanding your equals.

Then you must not forget the hand that is feeding you, Yorubas will say, don’t bite the finger that is feeding you. We remember God when things aren’t moving well, when your work is not equivalent to your pay, when you get no pay at all.

But when he blesses, we run afar off, eat everything, share with some friends but refuse to share with God. Really? Share with God? Yes, he doesn’t eat your sacrifice or whatever you eat, yes, but when you stay before him and remember all he gave you and give him the glory, you are sharing with him.

When you eat, drink and do all that, do them in the presence of God, with the awareness of his presence and who he is and what he has done.

Don’t be an ingrate, be grateful enough to give him thanks. That’s all he want.

DOES GOD EVER OR ALWAYS REGRET CREATING ME? GENESIS 6:6

The evil committed by the people was so much that he regretted ever creating men. He thought of erasing the being called human as if they never existed in his creation.

But one man whom the Bible recorded as perfect in his generations found favor in his sight, he spoke to him and God decided to establish his covenant, by creating a new earth through Noah because he walked with God and was perfect in his ways (vs.18).

God regretted creating man but he never regretted creating Noah. He purposed to destroy the whole earth but not Noah and his household. He is God, he could have destroyed all and if he still want, bend down, mould man again maybe things will go together, but he saw a fresh beginning in Noah, a man that was singled out of his generation to renew his covenant of towards man.

How many times do you think God has regretted creating you, or maybe every single day you wake up, he do wish he never made you or every single day you live, he do wish he never kept you.

THE PRIEST’S DUE DEUTERONOMY 18

For the Lord thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the Lord him and his sons forever.

Your pastor is your responsibility, you owe God that, and he called them to guide, teach and strengthen you. He told them to take nothing with them on the journey, not even an extra coat, no bread, no money, no scrip in their purse (Mark 6:8).

If you have 5 cars and your pastor doesn’t have a shoe to work about, you are wrong. The only work they do is to serve God by serving you, the inheritance God gave them is in the hands of the Church members.

Don’t wait until your pastor says, please give us a bag of rice so we can feed on before you give to him. He is representing the high priest. If you can give to someone whom God is his inheritance (vs.26), then God will definitely give himself to you. He goes about praying, fasting for your growth, asking for mercy for you.

Don’t forget the representative of God. Give to your pastor, it is a duty commanded you by God. When you give them, the same principle of giving to God apply to that, not grudgingly, the best, your, not out of necessity, definitely the best, your gift must be without blemish.

You will surely have heaven smile on you, God will never forget his covenant towards those who love and obey his commandment. Before he ask you, give him, he must not be hungry, he must not trek while you ride in a jeep. His cloth must not be torn while yours is brand new.

ARE YOU INFORMED? EZRA 5:11-17

You claim to be a follower of Christ, how much do you know about him, do your adversaries know more than you do? If they do, then you are in trouble.

Remember the temptations of Jesus(Matthew 4:1-11), the devil offered him many beautiful things, if only he could bow down to him but as for Jesus, he is more informed than the token the devil is offering, he knew his status as an high priest, is inheritance isn’t that of little and he refused, he conquered and received the crown.

If you know less about the journey you are on you better ask God as many as possible questions you can, he is the answer. Don’t go like a mediocre, don’t embark on a journey with such little information. If the children of Judah didn’t have the history stored in their head, their adversaries would have easily stopped them even without taking the case to King Cyrus.

How much of God do you know, is it enough to face the devil,? Is it enough to face your trials and tribulations? When you are sick, do you know what the Lord says about that? When all hope seem gone, do you know the Lord’s stand on it?

The devil will torment you for what you don’t know. God is not an author of confusion. He will be clear enough if only you will listen enough. Give me that listening ear Lord.
