WISDOM – JOB 28:28

From the writer’s view of wisdom, the price of it is far above rubies, wow! But what did he later call wisdom and where does it exist?

He said, the fear of the Lord is wisdom, which means we can find wisdom in a life that fears God.

If you don’t fear God yet, I advise you to start now, aside wisdom, foolishness is the only available option and since wisdom is fearing God, foolishness should be fearing the enemy (devil).

Devil enjoys you been a fool because that makes you a partaker of his loss but God enjoys you been wise because that makes you an heir to his throne.
Choose wisdom and live.

PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS – 1 TIMOTHY 2:1-3

A man said if you still complain that means you’ve not prayed enough about it.

Have you prayed as much as you’ve talked or still talking about it?
We all complain of bad government filled with bad leaders, we are always alert to their wrongs so we can crucify them, why then do you think God asked you to pray for Jerusalem? So that even you that dwell there in may be at peace.

How many times have you prayed for your leaders, rather you pick their mistakes like you picking beans, why not make them your prayer point or a part of it at least.

We can’t live a quiet and peaceful life in Godliness and honesty if our leaders still lack our prayers. Praying for our leaders is like a child praying for his parents, how fast do you think God answers such?

Moreover, verse 3 make it clear that it is God’s will to pray for all men (including yourself), the kings and people in authority.

Don’t expect too much from them if all you do is nag about their incapability, they will keep failing.
Pray for them as often as you pray for yourself.

START FROM HOME – 1 TIMOTHY 5:8

As minister of the gospel, don’t come out shining when your home is rottening. Some can give all they have to people outside but to take care of their own family’s need is a problem.

If you can’t manage your home, how do you think you will be able to manage the church? What exactly are you preaching if all you do is to leave your house by 4:30am return 10:30pm going to sleep not asking who is who, what is what.

If you refuse to provide for your own as a leader, you are even worse than an infidel. If you are good outside and bad inside, there is no use of been good.
According to 1 timothy 3:5 charity begins from home, if you don’t know how to rule your house and put things in peaceful order, your taking care of the church of God should be questioned.
