Patience - Hebrews10:36.

It is one thing to do God’s will, it is another to receive the promise. In between doing His will and receiving the reward of doing so is a very great factor ‘patience’.

Some will do the will of God from the start with a very great enthusiasm, but on the way, they will deviate. What went wrong? Patience! The patience that was supporting their confidence has been lost, they stop waiting and start hasting, they no longer pray, they now complain, nag and murmur. What fasting and praying will do for you, patience will do even more.

Patience helps when you are tired and want to give up, patience says there is no giving up, and patience brings the future to your very close front. Don’t get distracted with the world or by it, don’t lose your values to the world, it’s not worth it after all.

The world has nothing to give, it will only drain you of what you have.

Note: not everyone has the opportunity the prodigal son had and not everyone will have it. Patience took all he had from him and the patience he couldn’t use, he begged for. Good for him, he got another chance. You might not get one!
