Train A Child - proverbs 29:15b,17.

I am a child, there are other children around me, I have seen parents who discipline their children tagged ‘wicked’. And I’ve also seen or heard of parents who would rather ignore the child than to be called names by people or even the child.

I know and believe the bible is balanced enough, specifying the parents’ and children’s dos and don’ts. If you follow the word of God as a mother, you shouldn’t have any regret. On your side, you won’t allow or provoke your children to sin, you won’t overlook their evil ways, you will rebuke and correct them in love.

Different children with different ways of training, your best friend beats her kids doesn’t mean you should beat yours and your elder sister doesn’t even touch her kids and they are good, doesn’t mean yours should be untouched. Then what? Study the kid(s) and pray for the kid(s), don’t compare them with others, don’t get too tired of correcting and then decide to ignore them.

See training your kids as a course given by God that you must not carry over. Do your best on the child and pray and leave the rest to God.
