A man said if you still complain
that means you’ve not prayed enough about it.
Have you prayed as much as you’ve
talked or still talking about it?
We all complain of bad government
filled with bad leaders, we are always alert to their wrongs so we can crucify
them, why then do you think God asked you to pray for Jerusalem? So that even
you that dwell there in may be at peace.
How many times have you prayed
for your leaders, rather you pick their mistakes like you picking beans, why
not make them your prayer point or a part of it at least.
We can’t live a quiet and
peaceful life in Godliness and honesty if our leaders still lack our prayers.
Praying for our leaders is like a child praying for his parents, how fast do
you think God answers such?
Moreover, verse 3 make it clear
that it is God’s will to pray for all men (including yourself), the kings and
people in authority.
Don’t expect too much from them
if all you do is nag about their incapability, they will keep failing.
Pray for them as often as you
pray for yourself.
