When an earthly king or a man of power gives order, everyone must obey, even when it is not convenient for you, when he says ‘go’ you go not because you want to but because the man in authority has spoken.
Some like to work in their offices 24/7, but just because their boss declared a day holiday, they had to stay back, remember it is not convenient.
How much more God, when He speaks and we refuse, just as there are punishments for those who disobey earthly rulers, so is there punishment with God.
His yoke is light remember? If man can treat you well, God can do much better.
Don’t joke with God’s word. Today when you hear His voice, don’t harden your heart.
