IN GOOD TIMES AND BAD LUKE 8:22-25

We claim strong when everything seems to work, when there are no challenges our faith seems stronger than ever. We smile deeply with the understanding that Jesus is with us.

But when there seems to be a dangerous wind, we feel lonely, the lowly Jesus has abandoned me, we fix our eyes on the problems and refuse to see the one answer to every good thing and bad who goes nowhere.
How do you handle difficult situations, do you nag, do you breakdown or breakthrough and forth, what is your conclusion like? That Jesus is sleeping?

As a father that he is, he expects you to do as he does, God never sleeps, so Jesus wasn’t sleeping, he needed to confirm if these ones have learnt something so far. I told you to what extent faith will change situations for you, to what extent you will go if you can have just a little faith. The hour came for them to do the practical of what the teacher has been teaching, but they failed because of fear.

Fear sets in and their faith disappeared. The God you see in the good times is still as good as present in the bad times.

Don’t be a belly Christian, you expect yourself to be spoon fed all time, there are times you have to go forward like Jesus told the people of Israel in  Exodus 14:15, going forward is an act of faith, staying behind or being stagnant is an act of fear but he didn’t give you a spirit of fear.

In any situation you find yourself, think of Jesus as way out, will he rebuke the wind or enjoy it, will he heal the sick or ignore them, will he cry over been tortured and persecuted or rejoice over it.

God is ever present and the same ever, he is on the throne whether the times are good or bad. Take a step to move along with God, for faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God. Don’t be too blinded by challenges to forget the presence of he who can solve the problem.

His words are loaded, at every point, you should know which to apply to whatever situation. Don’t be bent by your problem, let the word of God straighten you. He loves you and want you to work with him. If you want to enjoy the fullness of him, start working on what he has taught you.

It’s a bad thing when a teacher spends so much time teaching and gives a test and you fail. It will be too bad if the only time you recite and meditate on the word of God is when things seem smooth, speak the word to difficult situations just as you do to good ones.

He always loves and cares.
