THE PRIEST’S DUE DEUTERONOMY 18

For the Lord thy God hath chosen him out of all thy tribes, to stand to minister in the name of the Lord him and his sons forever.

Your pastor is your responsibility, you owe God that, and he called them to guide, teach and strengthen you. He told them to take nothing with them on the journey, not even an extra coat, no bread, no money, no scrip in their purse (Mark 6:8).

If you have 5 cars and your pastor doesn’t have a shoe to work about, you are wrong. The only work they do is to serve God by serving you, the inheritance God gave them is in the hands of the Church members.

Don’t wait until your pastor says, please give us a bag of rice so we can feed on before you give to him. He is representing the high priest. If you can give to someone whom God is his inheritance (vs.26), then God will definitely give himself to you. He goes about praying, fasting for your growth, asking for mercy for you.

Don’t forget the representative of God. Give to your pastor, it is a duty commanded you by God. When you give them, the same principle of giving to God apply to that, not grudgingly, the best, your, not out of necessity, definitely the best, your gift must be without blemish.

You will surely have heaven smile on you, God will never forget his covenant towards those who love and obey his commandment. Before he ask you, give him, he must not be hungry, he must not trek while you ride in a jeep. His cloth must not be torn while yours is brand new.
