When Jesus taught about giving,
aside for you not giving grudgingly or out of necessity, you should not give
only to those who can repay you, if you do that, you are not different from the
pagan because they will do same, when you give, give to those who you know
can’t pay you back, don’t give expecting something in return.
So that the Lord your God may
bless thee in all the works of thine hand that you do, you have to give right,
to the Levites, to strangers, fatherless, widow; when you throw a party
entertain this people because you know they can’t pay you back, we all give food
and drinks to those we know when they are leaving will drop big envelopes, it’s
good to earn yourself some cash but any ordinary people will do same.
Jesus is saying be extra in your
ordinary give to those who doesn’t have the capacity to give you back
