GOD’S WILL – SANCTIFICATION

God made his intention or wish known to us when he said, be holy for am holy, he loves to see himself in us, he loves it when or if we are without sin, it gives him room to work in us.

In the book of Romans chapter 12 we are made to understand that the reasonable sacrifice we can offer is to sanctify ourselves to God (holy and acceptable). The bible also said without holiness none can please the Lord. Then the question comes in, can we be holy? Yes we can, I don’t see any reason why Jesus will command us as such if we can’t, it is his will.

I do say something, that if you can’t do it, he won’t ask you to. He knew from start that we can be holy and seriously he knows man than man knows himself. Holy was our initial nature when we were at Eden but the moment we were sent out of Eden, we lost that to sin but when Jesus died, we gained that nature back and that’s why old things have gone and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Won’t I sin at all, since I live in flesh, yes, you might make mistakes but that doesn’t make you unholy, Paul said what I do isn’t what I want to, the spirit is willing the flesh is weak but thank God for his grace that is greater than our sins.

If you make mistakes it’s not what you wanna do and that’s where repentance comes in. we will keep renewing our faith until Jesus comes.
