Israel don’t for once
look at yourself and conclude you’ve gone this far by your power, strength or
population.
Don’t think you fasted or prayed enough neither conclude it’s by
your righteousness.
Talking about
substitute, there are many many other strong nations (stronger than you) but
God just wants you, the bible even said in comparison, you are not to be compared
with any other nation, they are strong and mighty.
Why then did God not
destroy you considering your evil ways?, yes he would have, but his mercies
endureth still, many times he wants to but you were interceded for (Verse 14)
and as if that isn’t enough, Isreal never quit sin, then he made the greatest
sacrifice that you may be in shape, sacrificed his own son.
Don’t you even say, we
did this, don’t even say is by our strength or righteousness, those took you no
where in the past and now and in the future won’t take you farther than you
are.
All he did was for Love by mercy and grace. Acknowledge God in all things and situations.
