It’s so funny how
Samuel has no hint of the one calling, he ran to Eli three times. Samuel has been
living right there with the priest Eli in the sanctuary but yet has no
encounter with Jesus.
The bible said he did not yet know the Lord and God’s
word was not yet revealed to him. The moment you don’t know God ,you answer to
men, your service is still to men not God before Samuel’s encounter with God ,
he was serving Eli.
You come to church everyday, come early, leave late, clean
the chair and yet you don’t know the person of Jesus, your service is still to
the pastor and church members because your “Here I am “ is answered to them
not God.
Well ít’s a good thing to work in the church, but please don’t be carried
away by the so called works and neglect God , give God your listening ears and
your doing spirit, he has been calling you, you have been answering man.
He
doesn’t want your attention divided, are you ready to say speak Lord for your
servant heareth, this will make him your Lord.
