NOT TOO LONG MATTHEW 6:20

Time is important to keep us conscious of how day and night go by. But now time has been so ignored that we live like there is no break between the day and the night.

Many have lost consciousness of the fact that world is temporal and there has to be a crossover to the other side (heaven). In a little while, he that is to come will come, He will not tarry, in a little while means in no time, within a twinkle of an eye, when you least expect, not too long.

He never slack with His promises, no longer will that common phrase be repeated in this world that “we’ve been hearing of His coming all these while, He has never come”

You may be thinking of relaxing outside God, I can just beg you to keep resting in His arms because in no time, not too long, he will appear. There were 10 virgins (good people, strong believers) but it was so unfortunate for the 5 the Bible referred to as fools, why? Because their spiritual maturity and mental maturity weren’t working hand in hand, if not they should have known that “time” takes away some things, with time a charged lamp can go down, in no time it can go off. No matter how charged you were last year as a believer, it’s not enough to carry you through this year, the strength needed for each day differs, and there is need for renewal of strength. These virgins were good too but they lack this understanding.

The other 5 understood this concept, so they brought their chargers (extra oil) as the lamp was going down, they will plug the charger and charge. I can relate the five fools to a driver driving a very long distance without an extra tyre, you can imagine the risk.

Your faith is your oil; it’s needed for your strength to be renewed, for your hope to keep increasing, for your fire to keep burning. When you start losing it, you start withdrawing. Gather everything you want to gather and store up in heaven because where your treasure is, there your heart will be. Each day you live on earth is like building a house,, you started with all enthusiasm but there were days when you don’t feel like doing a thing, the building stops and surely there can be time when the whole building will annoy you and you will decide to demolish it.

You can’t plant mango and expect orange as the harvest, whatever you sow you are bound to harvest, whatever you are keeping in your bank account in heaven, that exactly you will get when everyone is to give and get account of their life. You can’t mock God.

Faith is the evidence of things you’ve not seen and the substance of things you hope for, if you want to get to heaven, then you must keep believing, have faith, that’s the only fuel you have, store up your treasure in heaven with faith.

I saw this somewhere, “don’t break with doubt what you’ve built in faith”

There is no time, not too long and the bridegroom will come get you.
