My niece always wanted this tight
trouser like that of her friend, my mum got her two, she liked them that she
wears them almost every day until she saw another friend who’s own was very
tight then she said she doesn’t want anyone because they are big, she wants
another that is as tight as the new girl’s own.
Our wants keep changing when we
keep shining our eyes on other’s property. That was the case with the Israelites
when they demanded for a king not respecting the fact that they had the
greatest of all kings (1 Sam 12:12b) because they’ve seen how it is done in
every other nation, they don’t mind what the word of the Lord was against their
request, they insisted on settling for less, they care less on the outcome of
giving up the best.
They wanted a change of taste
badly, are you that desperate?
Sometimes, what seems good on
others might not necessarily be good for you, KEEP OFF.
