DON’T GET TOO FAMILIAR WITH A STRANGER – GALATIANS 3:24

A mother was to embark on a very long but important journey, she took her kids to her neighbor so they can stay there till she comes, the children got used to the neighbor, the day their mother came with the hope of taking them back home with her, she entered the neighbor’s house, greeted them all, the kids recognized their mother’s presence, she stayed a while not to be like she just came and took the kids like that (that kind mentality), when the set time came to go home, she said goodbye to the neighbor expecting her kids to rise and pack their bags and follow her she was surprised to hear them say “good night mum, welcome back once a again”

What a painful thing for the mother, she kept them under the care of someone to make sure they don’t behave anyhow, now they are so blind that they now see the stranger as their friend.

You may wonder whose story that is, it’s yours, it’s the story of how you still live under the law and refuse to celebrate grace that has been brought to you, when you can’t realize that the law was only there to keep us in shape before Jesus Christ came and now that he’s here, will you still allow yourself to be ruled by the law where you can’t move freely, do you still want to keep paying for your sins??? Don’t you want the free sacrifice?

Law will only bring sin and bondage but Christ has brought life in its full version.
